FINALLY got to post some art again. I've had SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO few and far between times available anymore to try to do any art. I haven't drawn, painted, written, or anything much creative for a very long time. Work had me pulling more hours desperately trying to pay for bills and still was never enough. And always stressing...soooo much stress. I have FINALLY managed to escape Little Caesars as this will be my last week there. I will then be working for USCellular...it's a half hour drive which kinda sucks and it'll be rough in the beginning with lower pay but here's to hoping I can work through it steadily and get to the better pay part asap. It will be less hours but I should make the same or--hopefully more!--and it should be a better work environment for a team that cares instead of destroys mercilessly. So I am hoping that perhaps I might be able to find more time to try to get back to being creative again. I miss it so much, after all.Join the community to add your comment. Already a deviant? Character Secret Santa 2013

Anyone is free to enter [those that have entered in previous years and failed to come through with gifts in the end for those they received will be given warnings. First warning means you are limited on the number of characters you are allowed to enter. Second means you won't be allowed to join for a year.] with up to 12 characters per entrant.
You will be asked to then be as prompt to the deadlines that are set as closely as possible. If you cannot meet a deadline, then please be sure to contact me and tell me just what is up and we'll see if we can't work things out.
For each character entered you will be asked to submit a brief description of said character and a list of 3 things they might like for Christmas. This is used to help others get an idea of what your character is like and what sorts of things they might wish for. You don't HAVE to get a character just what they ask for. It's just for inspiration.
The gifts can come in a number of different forms in the end. You can write up a small description of the item, do quick drawings of the item, write a lil scene of your character presenting the gift, do a drawing of them giving it, buy the actual gift (nothing to exceed $20 per gift ever...we're not here to break banks, we're here to have fun), make a gift, etc. Be creative. No 1 sentence "Bob gives Rosy a cat." gifting allowed! If you want to write your gift giving it has to at least be a paragraph. That is all we ask.
We're here to have fun with this. It shouldn't be an overly taxing thing. It's meant for joy. But do be respectful and do take it all in stride. Some character pairings turn out to be matches made in heaven and some in hell....roll with the punches lol.
