As promised, I'll drag out my main three characters from the PrevWhim RPs: Pol, Cresc, and Nym lol

START
1.)What's your name?
Pol: Amin naa Poldalle Lovesnare, Champion of Corellon, of Oaksong. Well, Poldalle Arastacia Lovesnare if you want my full name, without titles and all, but if you like you CAN just call me Poldalle or heck even just 'ol'. Eh-heh
Cresc: *smirks and sweeps into an elegant bow, flexing his wings a moment, before giving a little toss of his hair* Why, I'm none other than Crescendo Elations Rhythmic-Eternity. And, aye, I am related to THE Rhythmic-Eternity pair. Tune and Songwind are my grandfathers. At least, on one side. And I assure they are not the only of my bloodlines to be extraordinary but where would the mystique be if I disclosed just whom else might have dabbled in my creation, hm?
Nym: *blinks and looks at the other two and then snorts* Nymefein. Just Nymefein or Nym. Though I have other aliases.

2.)Do you know why you were named that?
Pol: *giggles and shrugs* Well, all of us elves have a tendency to name our children with a certain purpose, and we're allowed to pick our own names at a certain age but I always loved my birth name. It's so beautiful. Maybe my parents had insight or maybe they were just trying to be kind, regardless I try to live up to it.
Cresc: *laughs lightly and shrugs* Well, I would guess it has to do with my parents having a fondness of playing off of musical terms for names. It starts with my grandfathers Songwind and Tune. You see both are bards and named their son, my father, Clef Rhapsody, and my aunt is Harmony-Bliss. All various different musical notions touched there, as well as added terms for happiness or joy. My mother's name is Revel, another term for an emotion, though I'm not so sure that my ...non-elven bloodlines were so focused on bardic terms. In any case, you've Crescendo Elations.....A bit of musical and emotional humor....and innuendo. *smirks and winks, licking at his lips*
Nym: Because I chose to give myself a name. Why?

3.) Are you single or taken?
Pol: Uh, um, well...eh-heh....single for now. I mean, right now, yes I'm single. I've not dated anyone for a long, long time...eh-heh. *giggles and offers a little smile, swallowing* Though that doesn't mean that there isn't a ....certain somebo---I mean...uh...*blushes more*
Cresc: *giggling at the wood elf as he winks at her before smirking* Oh, my dear, dear person, I'm always ready to be taken. *purrs*
Pol: *turns beet red and swallows audibly*
Nym: *arching his brow and wrinkling his nose before huffing and shaking his head, muttering to himself* Single.....and plan to keep it that way. For my health.

4).Have any abilities or powers?
Pol: Um...well I'm a pretty good artist and author, eh-heh. And I'm not have bad at sword play. I know a few different spells but I'm no mage or anything. I excel at getting along with animals and thanks to being blessed by Corellon's Choosing, I can, at times, channel his divine energies if he needs me to. *rubs the back of her neck* I seem to have a knack for being elected into leadership roles even though I'm really more of a quiet person....and I tend to make friends easily?
Cresc: I'm not named Crescendo Elations for no reason at all! *laughs openly and twirls his fingers, singing a quick lyric* I am a virtuoso. Magic and music is in my blood and as such I am exceptionally talented with all aspects of both. I excel at entertaining...and ...performing.
Nym: If I cared to, I could slit your throat six ways from sunday before you blinked an eye. How's that sound to you? *lights up a cigarette*
Pol: O.O......Well that's....morbid
Nym: *just looks over at her and takes a puff on his cigarette* I'm a drow. What do you want. *snort*

5.) Stop being a mary-sue.
Pol: What? *puts her hands on her hips* I'm just me...take it or leave it.
Cresc: *laughs* I can't help it if everyone falls for me.
Nym: Don't worry...they don't *mutters*

6.) If you were to get in a fight with a strong wrestler, do you think you'd win?
Pol: Oh dear lord, I'd be snapped like a twig! o.O *shudders*
Cresc: I'm certain I'd find a means of ending up the victor. There's far more to me than meets the eye.
Nym: I'd find a way. I don't lose lightly.

7.) Riiiight... Have any family members?
Pol: My parents, yes, though I'm an only child. Beverly's kind of my family now.
Cresc: Aye, those most notable are of course otherwise known to you. There are certain aspects of my heritage I'd rather leave a mystery, thank you.
Nym: Maybe. I'm bettin' my parents croaked off awhile ago, but who knows. As it stands my 'family' is the highest bidding House in need of my services.
Pol: You poor thing! *tries to give him a hug*
Nym: *eyes her warily* You care too much, elf.

8.) Oh? How about pets?
Pol: *stops hugging Nym and just sits down, pouting at him before shrugging* Beverly's much more than just a mere 'et'. But she's my animal companion, yes.
Cresc: *laughs* There are plenty I might call 'my pet', *winks suggestively* but as far as any animal in my life I've a familiar but she's more of a friend--despite our squabbling, I assure--than a 'et'.
Nym: *pats his pistol* That's as close as it comes.

9.) Cool, I guess. Tell me something that you don't like.
Pol: Those that would judge others by a stereotype instead of individualism.
Cresc: You guess? Are you truly bothering to pay attention to our answers? *purses his lips and shrugs* I suppose I don't like seeing open cruelty on another being. I do have celestial blood in my veins after all.
Nym: Oppression and tyranny.

10.) Something that you do like?
Pol: Classical elven values: art, swordplay, spells, nature....I love story-telling.
Cresc: Dance. I love song and dance; I was born for it.
Nym: Freedom and respect.

11) Do you have any activities/hobbies that you like to do?
Pol: Well, yes, I paint and draw in my free time as well as write stories
Cresc: I compose my own music and songs every now and then. Otherwise in my spare time I prefer to dance and find partners to ...play with.
Nym: Research...
Pol: o.O...You..study in your spare time?!
Cresc: *frowns* You need to get out more, my friend. That is quite sad.
Nym: -.- I do what I must to survive. ><

12.)Have you ever hurt anyone in anyway before?
Pol: I'm sure I have. It's helpless. I don't mean to but I might have.
Cresc: I wouldn't doubt it. There are some whom have longed for me but have not been able to turn my head.
Nym: It's sort of my living.

13.)Ever...killed anyone before?
Pol: Um.....yes...and I'd rather not talk about it. *turns aside*
Cresc: *frowns and extends one wing around Pol* Luckily, no.....
Nym: *actually leans to stare at the wood elf with an arched brow, seemingly surprised or impressed or both* Yep....as I said: kinda my callin'.

14.)What kind of animal are you?
Pol: *smiles over at Cresc and recovers, smiling softly* I'd say I'm likely a feline of sorts.
Cresc: *laughs and fluffs his feathers before tilting his head* I'm a wild, wild animal *growls seductively*
Nym: -.-.....I'm a spider...a spider that waits. A stalker in the night, hunting and pouncing when the moment is right.....*smirks darkly*

15.)Name your worst habits.
Pol: Uh...procrastination? And....rambling? I guess? eh-heh....
Cresc: A lack of responsibility at times? *laughs and shrugs helplessly*
Nym: Challenging the females a bit too much and pressing the wrong buttons, so to speak.

16.)Do you look up to anyone at all?
Pol: Sure...hehe...anyone that's taller than me *winks and giggles*
Cresc: *laughs* Good one.
Pol: Heheheh thanks.
Nym: *rolls his eyes and shakes his head with a hint of a grin*
Pol: No really....I look up to people like Drizzt Do'Urden and other heroes....that dared to believe in a dream and make it happen. And of course, I'll always look up to Corellon himself.
Cresc: I look up to my ancestors in high regard, after all they are amazing people and without them, I would never even be here today. And I fancy those of talent that might match me out on the dance floor. I am not so brash or blunt as to not recognize skill.
Nym: *purses his lips* I envy those whom have not had to scrabble for every scrap but also know they are pampered fools whom don't know the true value of things and as such will be forgotten to history as mere specks on a timeline. I respect those with superior skills and those that know how to play the chords of the webs just so to make things fall into place for the perfect plot.
Pol & Cresc: *exchanging glances for this is the first time Nym really spoke more than a word or two*

17.)Gay, straight, or bi?
Pol: Eh-heh, I'm straight. I've nothing against the other sexualities but I simply find myself attracted to men.
Cresc: I'm open. *winks and chuckles, running his fingers through his hair* There is beauty in both genders that I highly appreciate. I favor the fairer sex but there are many delicious souls out there.
Nym: None of your business.

18.)Do you go to school?
Pol: Yes, funded by the Church of Corellon, thankfully. Though I'm nearly graduated.
Cresc: Nah, I've been out of school for some time now.
Nym: Life is a lesson.

19.) Ever wanna marry and have kids one day?
Pol: *sighs dreamily* Mmmm....'tis one of my life's dreams! I hope to, some day! *closes her eyes and smiles in delight*
Cresc: *chuckles* I am far too enamored of the bachelor lifestyle. I am quite certain I've no children as of yet, and know I am not married so we shall see what life throws my way. I'm not fool to pass up true love if it should happen and that truly would be the one I would wish to bear children to this world with, if ever it should happen. One I am deeply in love with. As it should be.
Nym: I'd rather slit my wrists and leave my rotting carcass in an abandoned alleyway to be picked at by the sewer rats, thank you very much.
Cresc: Darkly poetic o.O *arches brow* You're not much of a romantic are you?
Pol: Too few are anymore.
Nym: You people are highly delusional about drow customs, aren't you? o.O

20.)Do you have any fangirls/fanboys?
Pol: Uh...I don't ...think so. But maybe when my book comes out soon? I might get some child fans then?
Cresc: *snickers* Would you like me to sign something?
Nym: Doubtful.

21.)What are you most afraid of? I promise I won't laugh.
Pol: Losing the ones I love.
Cresc: Hmmmm....I could likely claim the same. I do not like the thought of harm coming to those I hold dear, nor the thought of having them taken from me.
Nym: That all will be for naught and I'll never make a name for myself before I die.

22.)*snicker* Ok, ok. What color is your hair?
Pol: *wondering what's so funny?* Coppery.
Cresc: *smirks brightly* This -is- my natural tone, as much as you might think otherwise. I was born with this glorious two-toned black and silver locks. And yes, the glittering is natural as well. The blessings of celestial lineage. *chuckles and winks*
Nym: I'm drow...it's white.

23.) Eyes?
Pol: Stormy-blue.
Cresc: Again, I wear no contacts. My eyes are naturally sky-blue and soft-yellow in hue.
Nym: Cream.

24.) What do you usually wear?
Pol: Whatever's clean and comfy at the time?
Cresc: Anything that accents whatever mood I am feeling at the time, while assuring I look positively fabulous and gives me freedom of movement. It is also imperative it would not take hours to remove it. *winks*
Nym: I believe one might term it almost gothic or punkish attire but it is all specially selected clothing I've had....altered and enchanted to my needs and likes. I tend to wear a trenchcoat and fedora when I am out of the House. I wear whatever is neccessary to the task at hand.

25.)Ok. What's your religion?
Pol: I love and respect all the Seldarine but, of course, Corellon is fondest to my heart.
Cresc: I hold tender to my heart all gods and goddesses that name music, magic, and joy a part of their portfolios though I might favor Alobal Lorifil, Mystra, and Sune more than others.
Nym: *narrows his eyes suspiciously* Of a truth? Selvatarm and Vhaeraun. But if you ask me amongst any others I will tell you Lolth and at the most daring admit to my admiration of The Spider That Waits.

26.)Do you wish this quiz is over?
Pol: I don't really mind.
Cresc: If I am allowed a wish, it would be for far better things than that, my dear.
Nym: There is other stuff I could be doing.

27.) Well, it's still not over.
Pol: Uh...ok then....
Cresc: I am not at all entirely surprised.
Nym: Figures -.-

28.) Anyways, where do you live?
Pol: Capacia, right now. I've an apartment in Zaor Towers.
Cresc: My home is actually in Imaginarium, Furcadia; but, I am staying in the Platinum District of Capacia for the time being.
Nym: I'd rather not indulge.

29.) What class are you? (Low class, middle class, high class)
Pol: I'm a senior...and a ranger-bard, Champion of Corellon...? *blinks* Ohhh...well in those terms uh....middle class I guess?
Cresc: I'm proudly upper class but that does not mean I look down on others as all below me.
Nym: I'm male, and I'm a drow. What in the Nine Hells do YOU think?! *glowers and drops his cigarette to stomp it out* But I'm trying to ensure I've the best I can for myself.

30.) How many friends do you have?
Pol: Lots! There's Prince, and Mouse, and Shami, and Beverly, of course, and Landon! And also, I'd hope I could call Aralyn my friend....and I wouldn't mind befriending Shiz...he seems like he could use it. I call Corey my friend. And I've a lot of friendly co-workers and friends back home like Neume and Mela......
Cresc: I'd say my closest of friends would be one, Zade Moonflower, and one, Note. One a distanced, likely more bastarded prince to the Moonflower clans...and the other is my familiar. Both are, at the least, my moral compasses. *laughs and winks* There is another I would truly hope to call my friend but I shall respect the drow in question and not speak his name.
Nym: I don't have friends, I have temporary allies. There's a difference.

31.) Wow. If you could change anything about you, what would you change?
Pol: I'd be a bit more bold.
Cresc: Uh......I'm not really sure I would change a thing. If I wanted to change, I would.
Nym: My status.

32.) If you had a million <s>dollars</s> gold, what would you do with it?
Pol: I'd pay off outstanding bills, buy myself a house somewhere, and donate a good chunk of it to charities.
Cresc: Donate most of it after a shopping spree. Truly, money is not entirely an issue for me.
Nym: Start my own business.

33.) What is your thoughts on pie?
Pol: *blink...blink* It's good? I prefer blueberry and apple?....I mean it's pie...not the great mystery of the universe...*shrugs*
Cresc: It's positively delectable.
Nym: It's a sweet dessert? What of it?

34.) Alright. What's your favorite food?
Pol: Uh...I like salads and all but I have to admit, I lllooooooooove cheeseburgers *blushes and giggles*
Cresc: Mmmmmm.....fresh strawberries dipped in chocolate with a fine wine to drink....*winks*
Nym: Protein shakes.
Pol: Ok, seriously, you need to get out more! o.O

35.) Favorite drink?
Pol: I like wild strawberry and kiwi flavored drinks, Mt. Dew, and as far as alcohol goes, I like a fine elven wine.
Cresc: A nice, rich, aged wine.
Nym: Water or fitness drinks regularly and when daring alcohols, I favor beers and whiskeys.

36.) What is your favorite place?
Pol: Well my shower is my sanctuary and I love being anywhere with my friends and those I love...and uh..that doesn't mean one and the same! *blushes and laughs*
Cresc: *smirking* Dancing closer and closer into a lover's arms.
Nym: Working out plans to better my standings.

37.) Least favorite?
Pol: In the middle of a hectic week from school and work schedules.
Cresc: Stuck in the dreary droll of every day life with nothing to excite me.
Nym: The matron's chambers when she's in a piss-ass mood.

I hope that everyone has a VERY Happy Thanksgiving! Stay warm and safe and enjoy every last feasting minute I know that times have been rather rough lately for so many people, but I know, too, that there's so much to be thankful for. Alright, so my contest is over and the winners are announced= [link] if you haven't told me whatchya want then please don't be shy! I need to know so I can get it done for ya hehhehe All of the entries were truly amazing!!!!

Also, for those of you keeping track...my dad got the drain out on Tuesday...he now just has to deal with the staples in his leg for awhile longer and take it easy for a couple of weeks...no lifting/pushing/pulling more than 30lbs and all....which is a BITCH to try to get him to comply to! @.@

The next Secret Santa deadline is coming up soon, Nov. 24th....this will just simply be for an update on your progress. I know some people are already telling me they're working on things and some have stuff done which is great! I'm glad Just keep on trucking hehe

**1. Divide the list up by even and odd. Which group of five would make a better Five Man Band (like a Power Rangers team)? Who would you slot in each position: Leader, Second in Command, Big Guy, Smart Guy, The Chick?

Team A: Poldalle, Arfay, River, Damien, Lash
Team B: Lea, Bat, Alex, Cresc, Elzan

lol...wow...uh well either team has it's "weak links", and each team has one "more lover than fighter" type and then an elven fighter and two pretty-good fighters....but when it comes down to it, Team A's "fighters" are two assassins and Team B's got a dragon and an Elder vampire knight @.@....I'm not sure who would win if they had to fight each other...but I guess I'd vote on B...because they've got the more powerful people on it.... I think they'd likely make the better team too because Team A's got too many people that would get distracted with other preoccupations lol...at least Team B only has one anti-social person on it and he happens to be with his best friend still so....lol....


Leader: Poldalle/Alex (Poldalle was the leader of a small elven band of fighters after her company was attacked and murdered in a massive orc attack in FR settings and in both FR and PrevWhim she IS a Champion of Corellon so that kind of makes her the type to be looked up to....and she's the most responsible person there lol.... Alex? he's got plenty of leadership experience and the personality to get everyone together under one unit he's a knight after all lol]
Second in Command: Arfay/Elzan (Arfay's the second one that just has people naturally flock to her and is more "dominant" and driven lol... Elzan? well, truthfully I'd put Lea here in a heartbeat but she has to be the "big guy" for her power ....and Elzan is a good fighter and would make a good "general")
Big Guy: River/Lea (River's not really "big" but he's blunt and physical...and he's definitely not a leader or the smart one or the chick so this is his natural fit lol.... Lea?...she's a dragon. nuff said)
Smart Guy: Lash/Cresc (Lashanta LIVES for working his mind! lol he's DAMNED smart and endlessly hungry for more knowledge.... Cresc's rather intelligent and intellectual he's also smart enough to know what lines not to cross lol!)
The Chick: Damien/Bat? (Damien was the EASY pick there lol! Yes, there's two girls in his category but he's DEFINITELY the chick of em all ! lol! And Bat got order of elimination ...plus he'd likely be the "weak link" and need to be the saved as the "damsel" in distress...so?)


**2. Gender-swap 2, 8 & 10. Which character would have the most change in their story arc? Which the least? Would any of these characters have to have a complete personality change to be believable as the opposite sex?
Lea, Cresc, Elzan. Uhhhh.....lord who WOULD have the biggest change *scratches head* I guess Lea...because if you take the LotR version she never would have gotten as close to Orophin, I think....but really none of those three have stories diehard important to their gender. Crescendo would likely have the least change of any of them, easily lol...after all he's already bi and he's a royal flirty playful dancer of a thing lol! I think Elzan would need the biggest change to be believeable as a girl but not by much ....he's emotional, he just keeps a lot of it inside until it spills over heh....Lea'd just become more "fatherly" than "motherly" and slotted to be certain people's "best friend" instead of "potential partner"....Cresc....well he'd have a set of boobs and a vagina instead of a penis...that's about the only difference lol! that and maybe he'd have had a harder time getting Szin in bed....but if you ask him he'd say "girl, boy it doesn't matter, he'd win" lol

**3. Compare the matchups of 1 & 8 and 5 & 9. (Ignore canon sexual preferences for the moment.) Which couple would be more compatible? Which couple would be more plausible to people from either principal's home culture?
Poldalle & Crescendo vs Riverstone and Lashanta. More compatible?..lol Poldalle and Crescendo easily...River and Lash would drive each other MAD! in the underside of a few minutes! lol...Though Poldalle and Crescendo wouldn't really last long in the long run...they'd be friends and whatnot but they'd never end up dating steadily for long because Crescendo's too "free" and Poldalle's too "romantic" lol. As far as whom would be more plausible? Either....a wood elf and an aasimir or a wood elf and a half-elf/half-synian...but take in their professions and I think Poldalle and Cresc would be more likely too ...people accept bards attracting to each other easier than crazy nutball fighters and cold-hearted assassins, no? lol!


**4. Your team is 3, 4 & 9. The mission consists of a social challenge, a mental challenge and a physical challenge. Which team member do you assign to each challenge?
Arfay, Bat, Lash. Hmmmm....well...uh...Lashanta would be the mental challenge I think, though Arfay could match him for a stubborn act of will power....as for physical or social challenges? Arfay or Bat could be interchangeable....both of them attract people to them easily but are both kind of sheltered and Arfay can rub people the wrong way sometimes whereas Bat's just like "er duh?" sometimes lol...and both are pretty active people...but I think I'd put Bat to the physical challenge and Arfay to the social challenge heh....


**5. 7 becomes 1's boss for a week in some plausible fashion. How's their working relationship?
Damien becomes Poldalle's boss? lol! Nice!!! I guess Poldalle got a job at McCartney Fashions! hehhehe....they're perfectly fine! Though both are somewhat worryworts over getting things done on time and that could get a lil crazy during Christmas time and all but they're also diligent enough to make sure everything gets done in the end. They'd get along beautifully!


**6. 2 finds him/her/itself inserted into 6's continuity. As far as anyone other than 2 or 6 is concerned, they've always been there. What role would 2 be presumed to have had in 6's story, and could they fit in without going wonky?
Lea finds herself inserted into Alex's continuity...well I think people would EXPECT her to be the dragon that he the knight has to slay but rather I think it'd be the interesting irony that they'd become very close friends and two very powerful allies! They wouldn't technically fit together too well unless we take Alex's fantasy-level up a notch because you just don't see dragons alive in the real world lol! But wow they'd make a duo, now wouldn't they?

**7. 3 and 5 get three wishes. The catch is that they have to agree on all three wishes before they get the benefits of any of them. What three wishes would they make?
Arfay and River? rofl! oh lordy....wow...uhhhh......lots of naughty things before they even realize they've used the wishes up? Uhh...let's see....hmmmmm.....oh good God I don't know!...
- Magical weapons for themselves in each's respective favored weapon type
-One item that would be precious to their respective "love interests"....Arfay'd probably wish for Allen's watch back so that she didn't "lose it" accidently on him and River'd wish for a GIANT gem of some sorts to give to Amatae lol
-I'd love to say some sort of peace but each of them are too used to conflict and River enjoys it and Arfay is too set in overcoming challenges so uh.....how about they'd like to be out of their respective "cages" right now with their companions intact and safe? lol....River'd get out of the enemy's kitchen and Arfay'd get out of Obiair's smashed up ship? lol I dunno


**8. 1 and 2 are brainwashed by a one-time artifact that works even on people immune to mind control to attack and kill 4. They keep their normal personality, skills and competence level, except any Code vs. Killing has been turned off. Can 4 survive? How?
Poldalle and Lea are brainwashed to kill Bat? Pfffft! Bye bye Bat! Nice knowing you! @.@ No....no Bat wouldn't have a chance in hell! The poor kid would be lucky if there was a crumb left @.@ Sorry Sho! @.@....good thing? Bat's mother is Eilistraeen...she could bring him back...and hopefully help to snap Poldalle and Lea outta it!

**9. 6, 7, 9 & 10 must help an orphanage full of small and depressed children have a merry Christmas. Who does what, knowing that at the very least the kids will be expecting a visit from Santa?
Alex, Damien, Lash, and Elzan....well...Damien does this every year anyways lol....I say with Elzan involved...so long as there's no drow children we'll be ok lol.... Lashanta'll read "Twas the night before Christmas" and otherwise just stand back in the shadows....Alex'll be Santa, happily....and tell all sorts of stories and play with the kids....Elzan might help decorate but he'd just sit back and brood beyond that [he's got some childhood memories that are soooo less than pleasant] ....and Damien would donate TONS of money and clothing ...oh and Alex would have Saul help to cater it all! And ensure the food was kid-safe...which I'm sure it would be...Saul does like kids lol.....you don't really need Elzan and Lash...Dame and Alex would make those kids' dreams come true lol!


**10. 3 and 8 are challenged to circumnavigate the Earth in eighty days or less, using only forms of transportation invented before 1900. Can they do it, or will they be fatally distracted by sidequests or their own personality conflicts?
Arfay and Crescendo? lol!!!! Distracted, distracted, distracted!!!!!! But you know...with Crescendo's "connections in high places" they might be able to pull it off....lol...MAYBE. They wouldn't conflict in personality...they'd just perhaps get along TOO well if you get my drift...? lol!!!!!!
