Yeah, it's under "paintings" but this is just the best photo I could snap real quick of the two paintings together Maybe we can get some better shots later heh

Anyways, I just finished up Szinthrae before getting online tonight and finished Shiz about a week ago They're 11x14? if I remember correctly...oval stretched canvas paintings. I'd bought the two canvases a LOOOOOOOONG while ago one of the first times me and Tiff popped up to Hobby Lobby like....years ago @.@ And I've just sorta....horded them since then heh I'd had every intention to paint a couple of different characters on them originally but that came to.....complications. And so I'd recently decided that instead I'd try to paint Kristen her boys for her b-day [well Christmas but THAT didn't happen so I settled on her b-day of the next year instead cough cough....and if I didn't finish by then, Christmas this year....cuz I'm special like that lol] Then, with her coming to visit I wanted to try to see if I could get them done in time to give them to her directly while she was here. And then like my ingenious self, I procrastinated for like a billion years and then went "oh shit! I've only got like a month to do this!!!!" and got my arse in gear << >>.....lol. I'm actually shocked I managed to pump em out in time @.@....damn I'm awesome when I scare myself into busting butt? o.O

I'm still a lil twitchy about parts of how they turned out but that's cuz I'm a fussbudget lol. I haven't actually painted like this for YEARS. Namely, since high school and the year after I got out of it really. To be honest. I painted JJ's lifesize standee Atok but not an actual painting on canvas or anything. Tiffie was wonderful and bought me like top quality acrylics for Christmas to do these two paintings [and I nearly murdered the darkest blue and the white o.O....amongst wounding a couple of other colors nicely lol] and so I was all nervous because I'd never used that nice of paints and am famous for making a TON of a color and these were lil tubes so I was scared I'd kill em before finishing. Thanks to my co-worker, Joe, I had a means to save the skin tone I made for them and it lasted ALMOST to the end. It kinda gave out before finishing Szin's arms and I had to desperately attempt to mix it again...@.@ yeah...always fun heh.....

I don't know how long exactly each took me but I think Shiz was around 14 hours or so with Szin similar though perhaps closer to 12 I ran into quite a few bumps along the way but it was fun struggling through them. I've never painted a drow before lol. And I've only got a few different brushes me and Tiff have horded from various different places hehehe overall I'm excited with how they turned out and still kinda....in that "omg they're done? I did it...? I actually did it?" mode of thought lol!
