eh-heh.... Zanza had a vision once in some elven tea he was drinking of himself as a drider capturing Darfein there and spinning him into a web.....the poor guy....he's been so terrified ever since and worries about leaving himself alone with Darfein too long...the last person he'd ever want to hurt is Darf...he's not only his friend but his brother...and they love each other like actual brothers not just "Drow brothers" ....they're not waiting to stab one another in the back heh... and yeah, Darf doesn't know the meaning of "run"....unless it's into battle....he & Zanza were all alone once on this bridge with lava beneath....Quarion & Pollade, their elven comrades, were halls away....and Zanza picked up the smell of sulfur in the air and got really nervous just as all the sudden this booming voice calls out "I know you're there....I can smell you...." and Darfein tore out his scimitars and sneered and said. "I can smell you too! And you don't smell that great either!" and this big ole red dragon came roaring out of its lair across the bridge and Zanza started freaking and trying to tug Darf away but he just turned and charged right back so yeah....Darf doesn't back down...and Zanza supports his brother..best he can lol....

Awww! Thats actually really charming that two drow brothers can get along and would back each other up. Mind you, thats one hell of a comittment running after someone into a red dragon Calix maybe a bastard sometimes but he actually is very fond of his sister Srykrisalia, even if she is his sister in namesake only, he went out of his way to make her stronger and protect her though no one but those two knew that his actions were love oriented. He covers her in scars that made symbols and tattoos and everyone thought it was his beautiful form of torture, but really he was creating for her, at her request, an active set of scrolls on her skin to be used at anytime she was in a pinch and tattoos with perminent magical effects such as waterbreathing and natural armour. I think it's cute when drow help each other out
