*Lolth-Scourge Drow Club's Calendar Entry: October "Like Moths To Flame"



Alright, alright...yay for speed painting? I sat and literally painted this the entire rest of the day after uploading the lineart heh.... but hey it's done, right? I had originally intended to try to make it more realistic looking in shading and coloring and texture but didn't have the time and got kinda spazzy about the cheap effects I managed anyways lol....so woot I think it looks cool even if it could be likely a thousand times better lol And now my wrist feels like it's on fire and won't stop cricking...ow ow ow!!!!! over 6 hours painting with the mouse....yay fun *splat*


d'ok....so yeah this is my entry for the drow club's calendar project...wanted to do more but well...stuff happened and so yeah...least I got one done and barely in time too ....jeesh I procrastinate too much *le sigh* anyway, this is for October...so I went with the Halloween-y theme of black and orange and creepy-dark-cool...least supposed to be like that heh... hence the bats and the flames and the from-below-looking-up angle and Zanza's there looking all dark-creepy-cool ....I hope he looks that way lol...with his cloak of the archnid....funny fact: Zanza hates spiders...with a passion ....but he does love bats lol....which is what originally inspired this idea....since he's a druid he can cast "produce flame" and make balls of flame appear in his hands and then make the bats all flying towards the fire and Zanza all in his darker colors and his pupiless eyes....and figured it'd make for a cool image heheheheh ..... oh and btw, that pouty scowly face belongs to probably one of THE sweetest and most adorable drow you could ever find....yeah I know he doesn't look like it...but Zanza's actually a sweety....petrified of females, but hey...lol he's one of my fav characters and seems to be one of everyone's favs of my characters him ish loveable.... I had like a bajillion stories about him and stuff I wanted to share but I've gotta get this thing uploaded and entered, so if ya wanna know more, ask...I'd be happy to share.....gah I haven't drawn this guy in forever...he needs more love lol..... ok now to the rush-posting...
